Anybody using a K&N air filter and if so which one,I have a 2006 outback 5.7 carbed

As long as it meets SAE-J-1928 or UL 1111 and marked then it is OK. Looking cool and being functional and legal are two separate things. It looks like there are some out there but make sure they have the requirements stamped on the filter or they aren't legal.
