OK, fact of the matter, it's still too cold out, too much snow on the ground and oh yeah way to much ice

But I was thinking the other night about how much we have to get done in the spring to enjoy the lake.

For me as a lake property owner its not just getting my outback out and getting it ready for water, in fact that is the easiest part.

I have to get the peirs in, get the lifts in, make any lift repairs needed (have one lift right now that needs a new cable) Get the canopies on the lifts. Clean up lake front, put away winter toys (sleds, ice fishing equip etc), then I have to get kayaks down for kids, get jet ski ready for kids, get fishing boat ready, get pontoon ready....I can go on and on. Seems like an awful lot of work for 3 mnths of summer
