I use to do all the comps around here and honestly I think backflips are easier than 360's on skis actually my buddy randy learned backflips on skis before he could stop it was so funny staightline and backflip a 40ft gap like a pro get to the bottom of the hill and yard sale to stop pick up all the pieces and do it again
Man do my knees wish they had airbags 15 years ago but the pipe did a number on them anyway learning the hard way on buck hills ice you learn fast or deal with bruises for weeks2007 Outback V

From last night. The airbag is 50' x 50'. Practicing Rodeo 5's (rodeo is a backflip with a 180 spin). First couple are just straight backflips. Best one probably is at 48 second mark, holding the grab nicely. Taking it to snow next week (yikes!).

got the kids signed up yesterday! It's full today!
He was fine after those two jumps. As long as your board touches first and the landing is steep enough, the pain is minimized. It was getting icy as the temps were dropping, so the coach only let him do those two attempts last night. He's going to try to get the trick ready for the last slopestyle event before nationals, so I'm sure he'll be throwing it down a bunch more in practice.2006 Outback V - Gone

I started my daughter racing this yr. She's a U10. But at the end of the season the only thing she wants to do is ski on her twin tips, jump everything and tuck. that girl is going to be a downhiller long before she gets sl and gs.
My middle son is into snowboarding and for only on his second season he was blowing me away yesterday.
I'm glad your letting your son do this and let him learn from his crashes and build his confidence. Too many parents today don't get what it takes to be a real athelete, not some yeddy who wears the equipment to look cool for his buddies sitting around on there butts on the hill talking smack about something they will never be able to do.07 Outback, PP, Heaters, Custom 1/2 wrap, SeaDeK platform cover, Upgraded Stereo, Bimini, Apperance package
