New drivers seat for the XLV needed
I have a buddy who is a BIG guy and he slipped and broke the base of my drivers seat with the flip up. Does anyone sell this base or am I just looking at a whole new seat? I thought about trying to make a new base for it but I have a feeling the exact same thing is going to happen even if I make one. Any options?

I would try taking it apart and isolating the broken plastic base. Then glue the broken pieces back on with JB Weld or other 2 part epoxy. Then reinforce with a 1/4" or so thick aluminum plate across with a few screws or mini-bolts and nuts. Then put it back together.
Of course, I would be adding a swivel as part of the project. Might even make it easier. You can do a search on swivel seat here and see lots of pics and ideas. Most of us added at least one aluminum plate that bolted to the base in order to attach the swivel. Good luck!
Here's one thread on adding a swivel:

Did anybody ever determine in the XLV needs the angle? I have had my seat off and it looks flat to me?
