    [QUOTE=ian ashton;212443]I got a few deliveries today; inspired by another post on here, I am going to install a heater vent behind the drivers seat, so I ordered a matching Hot Tube with chrome ring from HeaterCraft;

    How does that work? Do you just Y off one of the (2) existing tubes?

    Exactly - I'm going to use PVC pipe, this way I don't have to worry about puncturing the tube that will run through a storage area.

    Are your (2) tubes located in the bow walkthrough? Doesn't seem like the best location to me.

    Moomba did it on the V2 for a couple years, but no longer an option.... Hmmm glad I got mine.

    They are, but since they pull out I think it's a great spot - if you leave the bow cover on it makes the whole boat toasty.

    Ian , when I did my obv with the 4 port heater, I loved having a vent at the drivers feat. Two in the walkway and one behind the drivers seat.

    wish my xlv had 4 , they put the heater on the port side, making it difficult to get fix heat to the starboard side.

    let us know how the wye tube works with the air flow.

    Will do - my '08 had 3 ports, the '13 only has 2. I figure if its not enough with the Y I'll swap out the blower box thingie.

    Looks like they're doing a great job on the repairs.
