    Default Wired Remote

Winterized the LSV recently and now praying for snow...Also working on a couple of winter projects. Would like to add tower speakers and maybe a sub. Does anyone have or know of a remote with the fade function?

If by fade you mean mute, no.

The stock controller on the driver side has mute. The option one at the swim platform has mute. After that, I'd guess you're just too darn lazy

I know, I know, no help - again.

I plan on adding tower speakers this winter as well. My plan is to install a two channel amp for the tower speakers and somehow intergrate one of the Auxilary switches to turn this amp on and off. So when we are boarding, I will flip the aux switch and let the tower speakers play, but when we just want to ride around without all the noise, just flip the switch and kill the tower speakers. That is the plan anyway!!!

You should be able to do that. If the amp comes with a remote on/off wire that goes to the head unit, run that wire from the head to the switch to the amp.

    Hope this helps

You may control the tower speakers with the fader at the stereo, i have a 4 cannel amp for the woffer an the tower speakers, and an other amp for the rest of the speakers, when i donīt want to hear the tower speakers just turn the knob at the stereo all the way to front speakers and thatīs it.

    Regards

That's what I was thinking about. It would be way cool to do that from the remote. I've been doing a little research with no luck so far. I guess, I can just move a couple of feet over and do it from the HU hah?
It will be interesting to play with varying the tower vs boat speakers' volume

My only problem with using the fader is that if I go with that setup, when I fade from the rear to the front, it would cut out the four speakers in the back of the boat. So that would only leave me playing the front two speakers in the bow rider section. I want to be able to run the back 4 speakers and the front 2 speakers regardless of the tower speakers being on or off. That is why I figured I would just control the amp with the AUX switches at the drivers seat. I do not want to have to get up and "monkey" with anything while I am driving. This would allow me to control the tower from the drivers seat where my beer is!!!!

I hear you. Marchina's setup probably required a different HU (two pre-amp outs, one for tower-one for boat?). My plan is still in the inception phase, any and all ideas are welcome.

I just had the guys at the stereo shop install a toggle switch in the speaker wire for each tower speaker, up for on, down for off.
