    Default new shredd stixx thesher

Got a nice little surprise under the tree this year, new shred stixx thresher. Can't wait to ride it! Gotta wait a few months for the ice to melt and then watch out!
Anybody got one of these? I only ride skim board style so I am not sure how I am gonna make out on it!

    Jeremy,

Since you're a skimmer, I think you are going to hate Santa for leaving that board for you. I don't want you to have a rotten 2013, so go ahead and send it to me. I force myself to ride it this summer and save you the frustration. I'll PM you my address.

Those guys ride in really swampy water. Best to send it my way - our water is crisp and clear.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

    Jeremy,

Its a pretty nice board man, the biggest difference you will notice is it takes more lower body effort to turn the board. Its going to feel very locked in place when you ride it the first few times.

I would remove the center fin or both outer fins to losen the board up and make the transition easier.

Ive herd a lot of people say its a love it or hate it board. I personally havnt riden one but i know my buddy really wants one but doesnt have the coin to get one LOL.

it is gonna be a big change, i opted for the thresher instead of the pro as the pro has 4 fins and of course you can remove them but you still have to have 2 fins not matter what and I wanted to be able ot loosen it up a bit! I am super pumped to ride it! I was able to get airs on my skim board so on this I should be able to take it up a notch!
