driveshaft seal
I have a '97 boomerang. It has rope packing around the driveshaft. The bilge is running many times in a day with oil in the water. Is there a Moomba replacement dry seal kit that I can have my dealer install to get rid of the rope packing?

There are aftermarket kits you can buy, but be prepared to get your wallet out for the purchase and the installation. Why not just spend a few bucks on some flax packing and repack it yourself? Not a big deal.
