Very cool - and pretty ballsy skimming into the wave from the beach in a couple places. For the driver anyway!
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

I guess I don't really know how to wakesurf. Oh well. Practice, practice.

HA! You're not kidding, berg. They did this at the end of the day at World's and the riders kept yelling at the driver to get closer to shore. The guy yelled back, "Sure, go get your boat and I'll do it!"

I'd have to agree with the driver here, I was surprised at how close they were as well. I'm surprised they were able to get a decent enough wave that close and I'm assuming it was pretty shallow. Shallow water virtually flattens my wave out completely. I'm guessing the shore bank helped it somewhat but still. Pretty ballsy.
