Speedo Calibration
I have a 2001 Outback with the stock 310 HP motor. I put an OJ 13X13 4-blade prop on in place of the stock 3-blade. I've been told by other boat owners that you calibrate the speedos by cruising with the motor at 3000 rpm. This speed should be 30 mph and to adjust the speedos accordingly. Is this true? Thanks.
