I just bought a 2002 outback and want to replace the stereo. What 6.5's can you guys recommend that hold up well and sound good?

I replaced my this summer with Infinity Refernces marines. I know at least one other guy did the same speakers, he and i are both pleased. MUCH better sound than stockers.

Any speakers w/ polypropelene (sp?) cones, not the paper ones or even the paper w/ lamenent cover.....I highly recommend the Sony Explode (the red ones). They handle a lot of power and have a good sound.
.
Hope this helps

Yes they were the marine ones, fit nearly the same. Two outa the four holes were used. But existing stock holes were not visible.
