Default Winterize if in heated storage?

I live in Michigan and will be keeping my boat in a heated storage facility this winter. Temperature will be +50 F the entire winter. Is there any reason to winterize the boat? I don't assume there would be any impact on my warranty?

    Thanks for the help!

I wouldn't see a problem in it. Although I would still do the Stabil in the fuel. When you get it out of storage be sure to change all the fluids and the impeller. Do you have a good chance of losing power in the facility? My only concern would be if the power went out for an exteded amount of time and allowed the temperature to drop. Might not be a concern. I will be storing mine in the basement and I will just change the fluids and impeller before I drag it our for the summer.

I would think you'd want to fog the engine, also. Let's see.....change the oils, grease the rudder, fog the motor, drain the block, treat the gas............you must remember, you are still storing the craft for a long period of time. Rings will sieze, valves will stick, cables will get tight, etc, etc........I believe I'd winterize (put up for storage).

    Hope this helps

Do the full winterization. Great reasons for it already stated. Also leaving water in the engine and exhaust heads will probably cause some extra corrosion.
