    Default Swing away tongue retrofit

Have any of you guys created a swing away tongue on your trailers?

I bought my boat used and wish it had the swing-away tongue. Just curious of people's opinion of this product.

My dealer told me about this product. Recently bought a new house, and have 2 garages, both exactly 21.5 ft in length and width. I am pretty sure with a swing-away and the platform off I can get my Mobius LS in, but not sure? Manual says boat w/out platform is 20'6, but not sure how much clearance I need on top of that. Currently paying $100/mth to store it indoors, so even a new trailer would be cost efficient. Cutting my trailer in half worries me.

The guys from Boatmate trailers can make a swing a-way for your trailer. They quoted me about $130 plus shipping and hand. You would need to find someone to weld it and re-paint. I was planning on doing mine, but I don't think I have enough room even with the swing a-way. I am right at 21 ft.
