Loose tower bolts
Make sure to check all of your tower bolts. They may seem to be OK from checking the outside by tightening with a phillips screwdriver, but don't trust that alone. Not a single nut was tightened all the way and some of them I could turn with my fingers. I just bought the boat new this year. Surely wakeboarding hasn't loosened them that much. You will need an 11MM deep well socket.

But do not overtighten or we will be seeing cracks in the gelcoat.
.
Hope this helps

yep, mine were loose as well mis summer but I had checked them new and semi regular and I believe they did work loose. I tried to get them tight but not too tight, I was afraid too tight might also crack the gel coat. Anyone have some torque advice here?
