Cruising speed
Does anyone know the most fuel efficient cruising speed for an 05 outback? I generally crusie at 2600-2800 RPM and ski a pretty good bit as well. I have consistently used about 5 gph with my 325 MPFI engine.

My 05 Mobius LSV has the same engine and I too get around that number.

I've checked my several times and as long as we are skiing and wakeboarding with a light load I can get 5.5 to 6 gph. If we get the tube out or load the ballics the gph drops below 5.
