    Default Wakeboarding speed,skill, poll?

Don't want to waste people's time but I'm just curious what speed you all wakeboard at?

Please include details such as. Speed, Line Length, Your Boat, Amount of weight in boat (including ballast and passengers), your skill level (1 to 5) where:
1= Can carve a bit and cross the wake comfortably.
2= Easily jump Wake-2-Wake(W2W), surface spins, ride switch.
3= All W2W 180s & 360s (toe, heel, goofy), starting to land inverts.
4= Inverts - no problem, got all the spins down (maybe not 900), Mobe, front flips, etc.
5= The best of the best, I'm pro. Working on double back rolls, 1080s, etc.

Me (It's my first year but having a great time)....

    Speed: 20 mph

    LineLen: 70 ft (I think)

    Boat: 2005 Mobius LVS

Weight: Varies greatly - lots of skill levels in our boat. 4-6 people with stock ballasts part to sometimes filled (usually come in between 800-1500)

Skill level: 2 (getting closer to 3 though)

I am a 3 and son is probably a 4. We both wakeboard with about 4-6 people in the boat with full gravity III ballast. Ballast weight is around 1000 lbs plus several hundred for the people. My son and I wakeboard at 70' feet of rope around 22 mph. With that much weight, wake washes below 19 +.

Me: Fourth year riding (first 3 were behind a jetski though so...)

Favorite speed: 22.5, but trying to learn to ride more like 21 or so
Line length: Prefer 65, but sometime shorten it to 60 when trying inverts
    Boat: 2005 Mob LSV
Weight: 500 lbs in center, usually 250-300 in each sack on side on engine, 1/2 tank of gas and 3 other people.

Skill level...its improving each time out, but I'm a 2.5...I'm trying to (and have) land tantrums and backrolls, but I've never landed a 360 yet. Can't keep that dang handle in the small of my back

Close to a 4 if not a 4. Land TS 5s no HS 5's yet. Tantrum, Backroll, TS backroll, and raley. Ride behind an 03 Outback LS

We have stock ballast (800#s???) two 375# on each side of the engine. This weekend on our trip to the lake. We rode with extra two 250#s one in the rear compartment and one in the bow. with 4-5 people. Could be a little to much weight but wake is acutally nice there.

2.5 ..getting close to that 3 but still having some issues with the 360...

23 mph @ 75ft. 05 outback with stock ballast as well as additional #250 twins on each side of engine and 400# in the front walkway.

This with 3-5 peeps in the boat throws a really decent wake. It just gets better the more people you add!!

    SBagley,

I, personally, like to use the engine RPM gauge instead of my speedos for pulling. My flight instructor, who's a LOT better than me likes to run between 2100 and 2200 rpms. I like to run between 2000 and 2200 rpms.

    05 Outback DD

Weight is usuall between 5 and 7 adults...no ballast

My skill level is a 2. My flight instructor is a 3/4.

My son (13 year old) is a solid 2. I pull him at 20 mph with ballast fully loaded. His line length is 55 feet. I have an Outback LS.
