RIP Herb O'Brien
One of the family for a lot of us. Had lots to do with many of us and our early equipment. Changed watersports forever in many ways. We'll miss you Herb.
Heard the news via e-mail in a tribute from Gettommy's:

Wow, in my case that is an understatement as I grew up with O'brian skis and then HO when they were new and I was around 10 years old! (Yes Fat Old and Bald is more than a hobby with me)
After blowing out my knee and my orthopedic surgeon told me to stop skiing, I changed over to wakeboarding on a Hyperlite, which I stil have and ride.
And I didn’t even know he was affiliated with Ronix and Radar.
There are many stories about the guy, but you have to admit, he was all in!! RIP
Eric.
