    Default Perko flush kit install...

Has anyone installed the perko flush kit on a v-drive?

Just wondering where you installed the water inlet, I need a good mounting suggestion. I was hoping for something that could be mounted outside/thru hull but the one that comes with the kit isn't going to work..
    Guessing someplace near the engine..

I didn't install it, but mine is mounted at the water intake just to the right of the V drive, down low (just an inch or so above the bilge floor)

So you need to remove the seat, and the vdrive cover to access it? Oops, thought you were talking about the inlet..

    Thanks!

Yes, just pick up the back seat and off with the v-drive cover...

I'm not sure what you meant by the oops part, but I can take a pic of it tonight if you think it would help...

I installed the perko flush and winterized my boat this afternoon...

Is your water inlet under the v-drive cover as well?

I have the kit so it has an external water inlet that you install in the transom. however I think it's going to get into the way on the back. I think I'm going to fab up a small bracket and put it under the sundeck near the engine. This way I only need to lift the sundeck and connect the hose...

    Looks like this one..

No pics, boat is all wrapped up, did you get it installed? I didn't install the inlet in the rear, will probably make a mount for it in the engine compartment so I can control the water while on the boat.
