Default Blue Sea + Shore Charger

So I didnt want to threadjack the other thread about this, but I talked to Scott at BlueSea and he was telling me this is a way to have a shore charger AND the add-a-battery and it would prevent the ACR combining the batteries during shore charging as long as you have the 5011e switch set to OFF. What do you electrical peeps think?

Yes, as you can see he reversed the position of the relay and the switch related to the battery in order to isolate the relay when the boat is stored. Others have been successfully using that modification for a long time.

Do you have your stereo power hooked up to the switch or to the battery directly?

I went back and forth with it. I think I ended up leaving it connected to the switch. I'll check when I get the boat tomorrow.

You will notice that Blue Sea hooks up the house load (your stereo) to the switch rather than to the battery. This takes full advantage of all switch operations and eliminates the potential for parasitic drains including the memory over the winter.
