Someone mentioned ,why would you switch all the old stuff to a new hull?.We have friends that have a 2006 Supra Worlds as well, that had Spider cracks all over the hull. I know they counted and number was like 80-90 or something like that.
It was a rediculous amount for a boat that was not abused and had issues that showed up right from the get go.It took them nearly 3 years of bickering with The now defunct dealer where the boat was purchased and SC.The owners son actually worked at the said delership yet they still got a Big runaround.
This all went on with broken promises and many letters, emails etc to no avail.
Finally 2 seasons ago at our local boat show after consulting with a lawyer etc, They had a proper sign made up and so before the show opened they went to the local dealer who now represent Sc and stated they would stand right in front of the Display booth EVERY hr the boat show was on unless they dealt with this issue.
Low and behold some panic phone calls were made,to whom ever at SC and they were quickly taken aside and had someone put in writing etc ,that they were to bring there old boat to the dealer and arrangements were made to ship there boat via transport truck back to Sc factory ,to get a new hull
The boat was shipped and any and all hardware was swapped from there old boat to a brand new hull..Factory fresh..
Seemed a little foolish rather than actually Buck up and just replace the boat but that was what they SC had insisted on.Then boat was shipped back and has a new warranty on HULL only.
This seems rediculous but had to be done, and they still have said boat.
Actually this boat,is was likely a Monday/Friday lemon,as it Blew a motor, while under warranty which was replaced and numerous other small issues
These friends still have there boat and LIKE there boat and likely will keep it still for a couple more years. Sadly they got a Huge run around,,,with many unanswered questions and supposed promises, but with persistence The LITTLE GUY won... or at least got a fair deal.. seems like way more trouble than it should have been ,would have been easier to just replace the boat and write it off somehow someway....07 Outback DD

why wouldn't a guy want to buy a stolen cover seems odd to me how you have 2 random covers and not know exactly what boat model they are for
