Jasper at the Moomba jam this year.

He's with us if we aren't in brackish water.

our black lab is less than 50 pounds, and the only thing we do is clip her nails a couple days before the weekend. No issues so far.

Oso <Bear> our 100lb Lab. Hes been on the boat since he was 4 months old. I trim his claws each time we go out, plus we lay towels down over the seats. The swim deck has taken the most wear and tear. My Sea Deck pad still looks good but its got some dog wear on it.

The guy I wakeboard with uses something like these for his golden: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2753821

She sometimes manages to get them off, just depends on the dog I guess. They do the job though and when I get a dog I will likely get them too. Love the pics!

I forget sometimes how beautiful the Pacific Northwest is. Mike and the rest of you guys up there are lucky. Not saying I would want to move there, since family is here and I need my GA heat, but good Lord is it beautiful.

My labratard on the left - my brother's on the right. He only gets to go a couple times a year now since my interior is getting destroyed - mostly from him.

The newcomer Lola - she's easy to bring along.

So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Waterbulldawg thanks man it sure is nice up here ill give ya that.

Oso is very well trained and is a great boat dog, you just have to understand he will be the first in the and last out of the water each day.

Ryan 8099, i have seen a better item wheres it like glue on nail protectors, i wouldnt put those mits on my dog, he cant spread his feet and swim when hes in the water. If you have a dog that isnt a water dog it would work but you also have to train them to use it. Naturally dogs dont like things on there paws.

Mike's got it covered! Same here just some scratches on the SeaDek. I've seen people out there with soft paws as well. Pretty cool idea! A cat got in my old boat after I did the interior and used it for a scratching post, now that's a motherf****r!!
