I bought the twins from Straight Line (440# apiece) and use the factory ballast (275# according to Brian). I place the twins by the motor box cover (one on each side) and the factory bag sits in the floor behind the motor box. That is abou 1150# of weight. Then usually, there are 3 to 4 people in addition to the ballast. At 21 mph, you get a very nice wake. We pull with a 75' rope (about 75' out is where the 'sweet spot' is).

    Hope this helps

How could i have missed this? Well we ride with stock ballast plus two 350# on each side. Does the job but recently we have added two more 250, wake is big, very big. I have a picture of just the stock and the two 350s on each side of the engine. Here it is. Thursday we leave to Lake Anna in Va and will load the boat down and ill get a ton of shots from that.
