Saskie99 thats a great thread to follow, on my boat I had more room for my threw hulls on the opposite side but thats the same really LOL.

What size fuses are you running? I have 25s in mine and jhavnt had any issues really. I did pop it once but that was when i burned an impeller up.

yes you can hear the pump if the stereo is turned down low but, well, we only know 2 volumes, off and loud LOL

Wake makers suggested I not run reversible pumps as they don't pump as fast as aerator

WHAT? thats crazy, maybe if you run 1100 aerators to each bag with 3 inlets.
When i was running the factory setup it was 30 minutes to fill my 1100s and now its 10 minutes.
I would talk with Spencer on that again, but when we redid my boat hes the one who said i need to switch to reversables. Now im running the new Ultra Jabsco pumps. Not sure how they measure to the older style but i thought they looked the same lol.

i am about 6-7 min from empty to almost 3000lbs in the boat. I would rather that than be 3-4 min and have to deal with the aerotor pumps and mounting below the water line and the anti syphon valves. Also when I am filling I am sometimes in pretty weedy water, not prob for the reversible pumps. also you do not need to have drain pumps as well. it is more simple. I really have a box of parts sitting in my garage with 6 pumps, sprinker valves, strainer, hose, wire, sprinkler tree.

Wow - that would push me to want to change.

I am still running the original Rule 1100 to fill my basement that came with the boat when I bought it 6 yrs ago. Which could be the original pump that came with the boat 11 yrs ago... What aerators were you running?
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Strange because I called wanting to decrease my fill time he said the rule 1200 on my boat is as fast as I could get. Maybe he meant with only one inlet?

    Might be just that.

If your running a deddicated Jabsco to your bag vs the Rule the jabsco will win every time.

Your valve tree for multiple bags is also goign to slow the system down a lot.

Right. Well I don't want to dive off into a full blown ballast upgrade as my boat is for sale and my new boat may or may not have quick fill tanks.
