That's insane, at this rate, I'll have my 2012 crewmax for 15 more years..... that's quite the inflation over the last few years, similar to boat prices recently.

    Default Show Those Trucks

As long as manufacturers keep offering 7+ year auto loans to keep payments down prices will continue to rise.

Yea just wait, eventually to make it easier for people to buy they will switch and say a truck is a recreational vehicle and based on 50K or more you can go 20 years lol.

Quick update. Time for a new family truckster - aka tow vehicle. Mama was tired of the pimpin Chrysler 300 so it went away today.

Drove this one home to takes it's place but it will be a real tight fit in the garage.

So we're set for summer and "other things" coming - truck can haul the condo on wheels, the Lincoln should handle the boat no prob.

It was an excellent time in 2009 to buy the big vehicles with the economy crash. I bought a Winnebago Class A for half the NADA and a two year old Jeep Wrangler for $14,900. I basically went buying not to put a little bit of money in their pocket but only to reduce their inventory which was bigger problem for dealers. It helped that gas guzzlers were getting a bad rap back then. With gas prices and the economy coming back, big vehicles go for a premium again.
