should be fine . I will let you know in a couple weeks when I take the boat of the lift for its winter nap

its the 1500 5.3 with tow package including electric braking if needed, should be better than the suburban 1500.

I assume since you live in NY you will see flying salt and stones soon. To keep it looking great might want to check into a clear bra. The front of the fenders will get hit, our first stop for out new 2500HD was to have one installed.
