Everybody on the board has said really good things abot these guys... http://elberts.com/
I think a new shaft is around 400.00 depending on what size etc...
Its possible that your existing shaft and strut could be straightened by a machine shop as well...

Most often insurance will cover bottom hits. You'd be surprised how spendy it can be when you start talking about replacing the shaft, strut, shaft seal, and other hardware. Whether you're paying a shop to do it at $100/hr or not. Paying the deductible and biting the bullet can be a better option sometimes.

Might wanna check into it before you dive in.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

What camera did you use to take the pic? So are you telling us that you hit something hard? A strut will run 350- 400

Do you have an issue with your boat just wanting to go right when you get up too speed? It also looks like what you hit took some off the prop.

i used my phone..but thats how it looks with your eye too...my prop had small nic's missing to begin with..that log finished her off with that big dent in the side, im about to order a new prop...it vibrates when you first take off but not that bad when your wakeboarding..can barley feel it..the day i hit the prop i was pulling someone when i hit it..and we did 2 more runs before we took her in..and i dont think i have any issues with the boat turning( if i can remember)

No place better than elberts. They'll get you the right one and a great price. My only issue was the collar on the end of the shaft was a little different so I had to get bolts of a different size (length and thread length) to attach to the transmission coupler. Looks like you will also need a 15 degree strut-- you can get this at skidim.
