OJ TZX5 5 blade?

soo i was on wakeprops.com looking for a new prop an i see OJ has a 5 blade prop. Whos going to be the one who tries it out?

When i was looking for a new prop recently and talking to Wake Makers, pretty sure SPencer said the 5 blades wont fit the Moomba's due to clearence issues. COupld be mistaken but thats one of the reason i went with the 1617 because it has very simular performance numbers.

He likes it. We run 3000lbs of wake board ballast with 5-6 people and it gets on plane

im seriously looking into one. I just went to a 14x14.25 on my 07 outback v. Im runnin about 3600 rpm to wakeboard. thats with 3200lbs of ballast. olus a ton of gear. Im gonna call them soon about gettin one since im a dealer for OJ. i meant to order one last time but i let him talk me out of it and into a 4 blade. I want to get the rpms down so im not using as much gas.

I have one. I had the OJ "wakeboard prop" 14x14 or whatever before. I put the prop on the same time I upgraded to the 1100 bags and the power out of the hole seems the same, so it def. has the balls. Overall the wake seems cleaner and no more rooster tail.

I had major cavitation issues the first time I loaded up heavy. Like "did I hit something?" bad. I'm still not sure why, and it hasn't come back. I bought an ACME 1235 to try since I thought I was having some sort of major issue, but I haven't even put the 1235 on yet since the 5-blade seems fine now.

I kinda want to pick up a big ole high speed 3 blade for cruising on Lake Washington. 25mph gets frickin old after a while.

It get cavitation noise with my acme 1847 when the gIII is full. I have a messed up motor mount and that may be amplifying the problem. Going to get it fixed soon
