    Default 99 Boomarang Steering

New to the forum and of course I come with a problem.
I've got a 99 Boomarang that is in great shape except for a steering issue. I've got a considerable amount of play in the steering box behind the wheel. I think the cable has a worn spot at dead center inside the box that causes the steering wheel freeplay ( about 1/2 inch left and right). Also, under acceleration and sometimes at cruise, I get a rattle that I have tracked to inside the steering cable where it makes the turn by the throttle quadrant. Does anyone know the replacement for the cable and box? Manufacturer and length? Is it a telex?
    All help is appreciated.

I would also be interested in this solution. I have a 99 Mobius that has a similar issue.
