    Default Fuel Pump Buzz

    On vacation and hearing a buzzing sound coming from my fuel pump (2009 LSV 325 Indmar)
    Only 95 hours on the engine
    Buzzing sound comes and goes but is becoming more constant
    Otherwise everything seems normal and temps pressures are good
    Anyone had this issue?

    Mine rattles a little bit as the fuel level drops. I'm guessing the sending unit arm bounces a little bit when there is not fuel around it to dampen vibrations??

    I have not been stranded yet so we will see how long it lasts!

    Just went through this with my 04 LSV. We were out and she started bleeding off power and starving for fuel. The fuel pump got louder right before it happened. Had to have a new fuel pump put in the boat. The mechanic said there was no fuel filter in the system so he added one when he replaced the pump. Runs like a champ now. Just keep an eye on it.

    Mine does it at soon as my fuel filter starts to plug up, go buy a couple of filter and put the new one on and see what happens!

    Local Moomba dealer recommended a fuel filter change
    Changed the fuel filter myself and so far so good no fuel pump buzz
