Mike, what boat do you have. I'm wondering if this prop will give me the same results in my craz.

This thread really peaked my interest too. From what I can tell he was running an lsv when this thread was started in 2012. I'd be interested to know what he's running on that mojo 2.5

I didn't check the date on this thread, wondering what was up. He sold the prop in this forum. I'm assuming because he sold the boat.

I ran the 1617 in my LSV, and it was a beast. It ran 1 1,110 bag fine along with the center, ibs, and an extra 400 lbs, but I think running 2 1,100s at the same time would've been too much. The engine just didn't have enough power to do all of that.

I pulled the 1617 off the LSV when I traded it, and will use it as a weekend saver prop only. I called Wakemakers and they approved of it for that. For the mojo & craz, I believe the Acme 1235 or 2079 would be the ideal replacements

Just in case you don't see the prop thread in the general section from today, I'll post her as well.

I swapped the 1235 to a 2079 over the winter and it's night-and-day different. I'm running 3,000 - 3,400 of ballast and have no issues planning out. Last fall I had trouble with the 1235. Lose a couple mph on the top end, but I'll take that all day long over having issues planning out.

Hey guys, yes this was the LSV thread when I went to 1617 and its an awesome prop on the LSV. I sold that prop because I sold the boat, and on the Mojo I can run a better prop then the 1617.

On the Mojo I run the 2079 and its a beast as well. I responded on 07STI thread about that.

Another vote for the 2079 I have a 1235 and went to that. Hands down worth it!

Can't wait for my larger bags to really test out this OJ945 (15"x13p) at wake speeds and a boat load with full gas. I was thinking that I might have to up to the 2315 (15"x12p) and see what the RPM's do there. Will be out for the holiday weekend to really get numbers since I have lead that will act in having bigger bags in the rear. For the life of me I can't remember what RPM's are at with wake speeds with my current setup.
Hope to get a chance to learn this wake over the weekend...

I just tried tried the 1617 with horrible results. I've been running the 1847 and quite happy with it. Based on the reviews I've read here I thought I needed to try this thing. Ran great with zero weight. However, once the ballasts were filled 1900#'s I could barely get the boat to 10mph. Full throttle, 3400 rpms and maybe 12 mph. Couldn't even get the boat to plane. Needless to say it getting shipped back asap.
