Thoughts on using the RULE 1600gph live well pumps for ballast upgrade
The 209 tournament series 1600gph with 1" bronze intake and 1.1/8 discharge. I know that Ill need 2 to do the same job as 1 reversible one from wake makers but when the WATER SHERIFF is heading my way would be nice to have the sacs bone dry by the time they got close. We surf with 750lbs in corner and the original G3 sac filled same side If not enough people on and always fill the locker sac

SO you get harrassed by the water po po? I've never been harrassed for ballast but I don't run 4K ballast either... It is one heck of a pump. Let us know what your fill/drain times are after the mod.

That is similar to the older style OEM ballast pumps. My fill pump is a 2000gph Rule that looks like that, just without the bronze base. They are proud of those, though. A Tsunami 1200 theoretical time for a 750 is 4.5 minutes, a Rule 1600 theorectical time for a 750 is 3.4 minutes. I am not sure the extra cost is worth it.
