'04 XLV - Steam coming from heater vents
Any ideas? Engine was running at about 180F (within normal range). It happened again the next morning after running it for about 10 minutes. When I brought it home and connected the 'Fake-a-Lake", I could not get it to reproduce the steam. Am I okay, or do I need check into this further?

Replying to Topic ''04 XLV - Steam coming from heater vents'
Boatnuts,
My 04 outback runs at 180 degrees and I have never had any steam coming out of my heater. I would recomend checking it out , it could possibly be the heater core has a leak creating the steam. I know on a automobile if you're heater core springs a leak you'll get steam out the heater vents.
