Help Help Brian Raymond...Ski platform is falling off

My three week old outback has it\'s ski platform falling off. The mounts have a thru bolt design on the top...which I can fix, but the bolts on the bottom seem to be self tapping!!! What do I do go to the next size?? Can\'t take it to the dealer before the weekend they will not have it ready and it will be a big hassle. Anyone experienced this problem and know a solution to get me by????

I think what I would do is just remove the swim platform completely and silicone the crap out of the bracket to prevent further damage.
