Default Surf wake set up with 1100 in rear on 2011 LSV

I have a 2011 LSV and just got a 1100 in rear surf side locker. My question is when you have a 1100 in the surf side, should you fill oppisite side locker at all? I have the factory GIII bag in oppisite locker. I am getting ready to get a 400 lb v-sac under bow seats.

I am looking for the best wakesurf setup I can get.

Yes fill opposite side bag. Not sure how much on LSV but on the Mojo I put 400lbs in non surf side. Really helps to sink the back end down. Which makes the wave taller.

I would take the 400 pounder and put it up front before filling the starboard ski locker. After you weigh the bow next would be some weight in the star ski locker

With the 1100 full I like ~400 in the opposite corner, 400 in the ski locker, and 600 in the bow.

There are two different schools of thought regarding this. One is to weight the entire boat evenly, like for wakeboarding to sink the whole boat, and THEN add more weight to the surf side. The other is to only add weight to the surf side. I can see benefits to both. It may be a trial and error or personal preference issue.

Thanks, I'll try 400 lb in the bow first then work my way up to filling up opposite bag. I could surf fine with original GIII setup but I am looking foward to taking it to the next level.

Please post your impressions. I've got a 2011 and am looking at the same improvement options.
