Replying to Topic 'Need a wake surfing wave for my Outback'
It is much easier to make a good surf wake with a V drive. The engine gives you a lot of built in ballast that DD would have to compensate for. I have the Gravity games ballast III in mine and I still have to add additional ballast to get where I want the wake. I have also been on an X7 that was a DD that had a great surf wake but we weighed the heck out of it. Good luck in your search

Thanks for the input. No question about it, I need a new Mobius XLV. I guess I'd better start looking at the "New boats pricing posts"
