Polish & Wax suggestions
I'm going to try to save some money by polishing & waxing my '07 XLV this year. I have some light scratches I need to buff out, etc.
any recommendations on good brands to use?

If you do a search for "wax" on the forum you are probably coming up empty handed since it does not support short search words.
Here's a sort of recent discussion on detailing and waxing - good luck!

I used Meguiars Ultimate Compound and then Mequiars polishing compound, knocked out all the scratches down to 1200 grit I believe. I've got a black Outback, so oxidation is a big issue, I needed something that would cut well but not swirl, those two worked great.
Used them on a variable speed rotary with pads I ordered on eBay. Foam compounding pad, and a foam polishing pad. I still need to apply a good final wax to protect the finish.Brandon
