05 outback fuel filter location

so the troubles continue. i replace fuel pump safety switch, rebuilt carb and still get the same issue. when i throttle up the boat just dies. I can get it to start and then it will run for a while then it will do it again. SO I'm thinking the fuel filter could be to blame. the pump is running so unless its quitting while I'm on the throttle then i think its got to be the filter. Just need to know where its at? thanks

Mines an 07 and it's located behind the panels in the rear transom storage compartment. There is a thread with pics on here somewhere.

found it. mine was in engine bay under blower. installed and now i have no fuel. gonna change pump and hope it works.

new pump in. runs like a champ!
