Default Do the new Oz Towers come pre-wired for lights or speakers?

My buddy will be picking up his Mojo next week and we were wondering if the new Oz tower will come wired for speakers or lights if he didn't order those options? I know most are ordering their boats with these options but perhaps someone can offer some input.

IM not positive but as i understand it they do not. They are pre drilled for the speaker clamps and such but no wires. I also understand there is pre drilled access from the tower threw the gunnel. This is the way Malibu did it also.

I have no idea. However, I do know that Moomba is prewired for every option in their 2008 boats. All of the stereo and speaker wires were in my boat. I just had to cut holes and install. There was also power for a depth finder on a rocker switch. Now, running wires into a tower is a little different. To be efficient in production, if just makes sense.

In my 2008 XLV the tower was bare and I had to run all the wires which is why I ask. It's no big deal, just thought I'd ask before his boat arrives. Too bad.

501, no prewires in the new Oz tower for the Mojo. However, its easy to run any wires for speakers and or lights. The option for tower speakers is lame, only 2 tower speakers and the wires are not run through the speaker clamps and are exposed to terminals on the outside of the speaker cans so i opted out of that option as well. I put in my own Kicker HLCD tower speakers with black krypt cans, the speakers sound kick(er) ass. see pics below.

oh yea, and you have to drill your holes, so watch out for metal shavings on the seats, cover up and clean up good. no pre drilled holes in my Oz tower.

    Chris,

You sure? Look in the forward "corner" bends of the tower tube. Should be a black, rubber plug in the holes. FWIW, I like the location of yours better anyway.

yea you're right wolfeman, guess I totally missed that one, plane as day staring right at me in the top corner, 2 rubber plugs, predrilled.

I guess because I was looking more on the sides and wanted to get dirty drilling holes in my new boat.

thanks guys for the compliments, feels good hearing from experienced dudes.

501 congrats on the new x30, i think i read in the other posts, you just got one but maybe i have the wrong 501, its gotta be sweet

Well, the tower might be easier for me to do than a 1" in the hull for more pumps, etc.! Some guys on here have more stones than me doing that kinda stuff.
