I have an Acme 913 for sale in classified section. That's what the people at nettles props told me I needed of wakeboarding/surfing. No sure if it would fit and outback though. I got it for my 09 LS but never put it on because I got a Mojo.

I'll throw in my .02
I have 2 props for my outback. Both props are OJ Legends, which are cast. The newer props are CNC machined which are more accurate to the specs. Both of my props are 13x13. One prop is 3 blade, the other is 4 blade. I have a preference to my 3 blade.
The 3 blade is a decent for about everything. Skiing, wakeboarding, tubing. I find my 3 blade is more fuel efficient. If you run a heavy boat most of the time, it can be a little slow on the start. I run some ballast (800#) sometimes, and still use this prop.
The 4 blade, is better for a the heavy boat. Better out of the hole. Holds slower speeds better. Uses more fuel. Little top end loss.
Purchased my boat used with 4 blade. I put a 3 blade on. Kept the 4 blade as a spare. I have switch back and forth between props and always end up back at my 3 blade. I know there are other props, the newer CNC props the are probably better all around than what I have.2003 Outback, Assault EFI, (6) Polk Audio DB651s, JL Audio M6600 amp, JL Audio M1700 amp, JL Audio 10w6v2 subwoofer

What was the verdict on the acme 1235 on an 09 LSV. You Da Man offered me a sweet deal on his 1235 after he got the cinco blade but when we looked the 1235 didn't have a whole lot of clearance from the bottom bar of trailer. I was bummed when we decided it wouldn't safely fit

Thought al did a test and the 1847 was the best alt for the 1235 with clearance.

What is wrong with your current prop?
A good prop will run you $300-$400. Having said that - it is always wise to have a spare, just make sure you get a puller and know how to use it.If you believe something to be true, it will be - in it's consequences.

For moto's boat; in his signature is does not specify a V-drive. The V-drive and direct drive use different drive shaft sizes, 1" vs 1 1/8".
I would try what you have on the boat. Also you will want to know what you have on the boat before you change to anything else.
3 blade or 4 blade. pitch vs diameter. CNC machined vs cast. There are a few variables. Give the ACME or OJ or Nettle props a call.2003 Outback, Assault EFI, (6) Polk Audio DB651s, JL Audio M6600 amp, JL Audio M1700 amp, JL Audio 10w6v2 subwoofer
