'03 Moomba Outback Speaker Size?

I just bought a used 2003 Outback and am putting some new speakers in the boat. But searching on the net has given no answers as to what size they are. I would just go measure them but boat is already in storage so its hard to get at... Are they 5 1/4'' or are they 6 1/2'' speakers???

Pretty sure they are 6 1/2" I had 04 Outback and don't think 03's were any different...
As far as I am aware, most have had 6 1/2's in them...
hopefully someone else can chime in with an 03.. but I am pretty sure they ar 6.5
Polk DB651 is a great replacement.. Crutchfield and Circuit city run a buy 1 get 1 1/2 price sale all the time on them..

My '08 has 6 1/2's as well. I'm sure they are all the same.

Bringing this thread back as I found in my Outback LSV the speaker sizes are not the same. Infact the bow speakers are 6 1/2s while the stern 4 are what I believe to be 5 1/4. I'm wanting to upgrade mine as they are thrashed and sound like poo. I would like to replace my current setup with some Exile SX65m all the way around. I have no problem boring out the speakers holes in the stern to fit the Exiles, but I do see I might have a problem with that as the spearkers may end up beneath the back seat cushion and/or encroaching the crease creating a mounting problem.

Has anyone else upgraded the smaller stern speakers and know what I'm talking about?

The pictures below are just reference pictures to compare the bow speaker grill with the stern speakers to show that they are indeed not the same size.

you could always use a spacer ring to bring it forward some.

or by 5.25 for the cabins and 6.5 for the bow.

i think Jessec build spacers for his 02 lsv bow speakers.
