Prop help!!

I can't get the prop off my boat.. got the cotter key out, got the nut off, put prop puller on, tightened the #$%# out if it, hit it with a hammer from behind.. nothing... any ideas?

Before you get too carried away put the nut back on, not tight but to catch the prop should it pop off with explosive force. Safety first. Then as noted about heating with a propane torch and the use of the prop puller should get it off.

+3...put the prop nut back on and heat it up just a little. NEVER take the nut off prior to the prop popping loose. It's probably a blessing that you're having issues because IF the prop popped loose without the nut you could have injured yourself (don't laugh...there's a good chance you would have) and/or you would have dinged the prop when it hit the ground because there's no nut to stop it from flying off the shaft.

I got it off.. thanks... I just cranked on it like a b***! Boat runs awesome now.
