TEMPORTURE PROBLEM
I have a 1993 Moomba Boomerang with a 5.8, which i think is a 351, having over temp. problem. I have checked all lines and strainers, all o.k. Also, I looked at the impellor on the lift pump, looks good and pumps water. From cold start up, it does'nt take long to overheat. Does anyone have any information or trouble shooting tips that I can try?
I would like to talk to someone if they could leave a number, if they know anything about this problem. My number is (31 649-3770.

The thermostat would be the first place I looked at if this were happening to me.

The water jackets on the exaust manifolds would be another place to check. Those holes through the manifolds are fairly small and wouldn't take much to restrict water flow. 1993 year means 12 years old or so. If the boat has been in salt water, it may be an issue
