Ski Schools in Florida
My family and I will be in Florida for 2 weeks this coming Christmas season. I see a variety of Pro water ski schools in the Tampa / Orlando area. I would like to put my kids in a few ski lessons while we are there. Can anyone recommend or caution me about ski schools down there. Preliminary research shows McCormicks ski school in Seffner, and Sammy Duvalls ski school in Orlando. Any experiences with these or other schools? What kind of skiing weather would be normal for that time of year?
Thanks.

Thanks Jeff,
You guys get those artic blasts from us, Canada eh! Needless to say wetsuits aren't a problem. My wetsuit wardrobe is better than my work suit wardrobe.
Ed - Swiss SKi School looks interesting. My parents live in Homassassa/Crystal River Area. How far a drive would that be. We will be at the "Rat Kingdom" for 3 or 4 days and my parents place for the rest of our stay. The SSS says a 2 hour drive from Tampa ???
PS. I followed your jamboree posts with great interest ! Congrats on a successful event

Give the guys at Otown watersports a call. Glen is great to work with and you might even meet Dallas!

Rob,
There's also Sunset Lakes in nearby Groveland. Here;s the link if you want to check it out:

Ed, I thought you didn't like your experience at the Swiss Ski School, with the exception of Natalie at the pro shop????

Thanks for the info! I'll contact these places and try to make a decision. I think I might be leaning toward wherever Natalie is working.
