Got my first surfboard!

Last summer I tried surfing a few times behind my uncles wakesetter. Had a blast of course and picked it up pretty quick.

I got a pretty good deal on a new Triple X slasher on ebay. Just came in today... its going to be a looooong 3-4 months until surfing season in Minnesota! CANT WAIT!

On the positive side, at least it gives me some time to find a few more large friends to help with the ballast situation.

That shouldn't be too hard in Minnesota, especially after a long winter! Congrats on the new board! Post up some pics of you riding it when you get out after the thaw.

Another Slasher. Nice. A word to the wise. Give it a go with the three fins on and be prepared to quickly remove the center one. If your just learning, leave all three on as it will really lock it in to the water. when I removed the center fin (2 trips later) I was shocked how much it changed things. Good times!

Congrats... I rode one all last summer, it was a blast. A fast board but easy to get the hang of it.
