Me too! I was going to ditch them for some AMP steps but found they really help protect from others stupidity in parking lots. They somewhat help with with rocks thrown from the front tires do to lift but the AMPs would offer no help as they are tucked and hidden (and another bill and change)

I personally like the wheel-to-wheel nerf bars over the shorter length version!

sorry............gotta set! I hated them at first and really wanted AMP Steps. But they've grown on me and spending the cash on performance goodies I'll wait till they rust off. Don't think I'd use the shorties though.

Why don't you powdercoat them black and put them back on? That'd look sick! Never seen a full lenght black set on a rig around here.

You mean mud flaps? I dont have any on this truck as of yet. I can send you some pics of my brush guard thats attached to my hitch to protect the boat from rocks.

Just picked up a new 11 D-Max, last week, and setting up all the mods.
Already removed all the badges and door bumpers. The parts for an 11 seem to be few and far between due to the new suspension and lug pattern.
Some of you may remember my old truck and this is almost identical. New options that it came with were:
Adjustible pedals
Back up Sensors
And the best, an exhaust brake!!

Mods in the future
8" Lift (n/a)
22" wheels w 38" tires (n/a)
Full Exhaust
H&S
S&B Cold air
Rear Air bags w on board compressor
Train horn
HIDs
Tow mirrors
Paint plastic trim white
Change to 2009 hood
Titan Fuel tank
Lift pump
Full Exile external system (I have some ideas up my sleeve)

I might have missed a few and several of these still are not available for the 11 but it will happen!!!!
