    Default Wakesurf wave setup

Hi guys I own a 2009 outback v and was trying to dial in my surf wave for regular footers. We currently run 750lbs in the rear and 400lbs in the center and have around 6 people in the boat. We have an extra 400lb bag and am thinking about getting another 155lb bag. Any ideas on where to put these to make an epic wave? Also where do you have your wake plate? Would also love to hear how everyone else has their boats setup for surfing.

With 750 Port side rear, 400 center, 6 people in the back & port side should be pretty decent already. You could put the extra 400 in the bow. Wakeplate will depend on speed, actual placement of ballast and people, play with it.

As a basis for comparison, if Epic is a fully loaded Enzo, you probably won't get Epic out of an NG OBV.

Edit: Post some Pics of your current surf wake

I know firsthand that your boat will throw and excellent surf wave. I don't know exactly where to put the extra weight though. But you are in the right place. Let's see some pics!

We usually run at about 10.5-11 mph. I don't think I have any pics but I have some vids I'll post for you guys when I get home.

Sorry for the delay, I was having trouble getting the vids posted so I just snapped a shot of the vid from my iphone. This is the best pic I could get that really showed the wave sorry it's small. Let me know what you think.
