transmission rattle
what does it mean when youre transmission rattles at ldle speed but stops rattling soon as you start to get on it,trans fluid is good and full ,thanks 2001 mobius ls

Just a thought, but could be that the shift cable is slightly out of adjustment.

Is your boat carbureted? Sometimes when the idle is under 600rpms, the trans. pump can make a knocking noise and goes away when rpms are picked up. It is not damaging, but annoying. Turning up the idle a hair should take care of it. Brian Raymond
