Atlanta Boat Show Jan 12-15

I've invited myself to again help Atlanta Marine at the boat show this year. My wife thinks I'm crazy using up 2 vacation days to "work" but I had such a good time last year. I'm hoping the weather ends up being better than last year when the ice & 2 inches of snow basicallly shut down Atlanta for a week. I'm also hoping to see some faces from last year and to get more folks into a Moomba or Supra than I did last year.

I was thinking about taking a run up your way that weekend but my plans got overruled by a cheer competition. But, the silver lining is that there's one in Tampa in a few weeks so I may get to see Moombadaze and break the seal on the new surfing year.

Houston this weekend. But they canceled the Saturday part of the show...due to a Texan Game. Unbelievable

So, not a good start to the show again this year! Last year the snow & ice had Atlanta shut down. I was on my way down earlier and got a call that the show wont open until 2:00 pm today because the rail jam pool busted and the floor is covered in water! I can't imagine the mess with the carpets and all of the power running on the floor. Guess I better wear my boots!
