Lake Michigan
It’s a chilly day in Chicago. The wind is 34 mph out of the northwest and air temperature is in the low 20s. So I drove down to check out the lake. Waves are 6 to 10 feet. The current caused by the strong wind is pulling most of the water out and away from the ramp, which opens facing south. Normal water depth in the ramp area is two to four feet. Water temperature is a bone chilling 38 degrees. Happy New Year!
