Group buy on PP, good luck with that , you know it's a canadian company right? Start hunting ebay now, you'll find something.

Resisting the urge until after the holidays - however the wish list continues to grow...
Ron - curious what your vinyl will run you. Ran into a friend of a friend over the summer with a 2001 X-star that just had his redone. He shopped around and had quotes ranging $5-7k. Ended up pulling out everything he could and bringing it in some place for around $2500. In the end he felt it was a mediocre job - looked good from a couple feet away but had some wavy and/or exposed stitching...
Leaves me with sticker shock considering I need it done as well.So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

I'm sure it'll be under $2K. I'm guessing about $1.5K when it's done. I had the back deck, and entire spotter/passenger seat area done last spring and I think that cost 4 or 5 hundred, can't remember but I have documentation. It turned out pretty good. I'll let you know when it's done.
1. I've pulled all the panels myself. Nasty job, hard to get at some nuts, and some nuts siezed.
2. I'm going to remove the majority of the staples myself.
3. I'm duplicating the colors, white with blue and grey S pattern.
4. Vinyl guy will remove existing vinyl and reattach new vinyl. I don't have the sewing machine to do this, or the thread, or the experience.
5. I'm reattaching the panels myself.
Still got 4 pieces to remove.
